NAATI translation in Sydney: visas, citizenship and driving
Upload your document from anywhere in Sydney or NSW: a NAATI-certified translator checks and certifies the English translation, and you receive the PDF by email.
Transferring your overseas licence to a NSW licence? We cannot help with that one. Service NSW only accepts translations from the Free Translating Service and Multicultural NSW, plus the Korean Consulate-General and TECO Sydney for Korean and Taiwanese licences. Read what NSW accepts.

What our translations are used for in Sydney
- Visas and citizenship: if you apply from Australia, Home Affairs asks for the translator's NAATI practitioner number on each translation, which ours show.
- Driving in NSW as a visitor: NSW asks drivers whose licence is not in English to carry an English translation or an International Driving Permit. See licence translation for visitors and car hire.
- Marriage in Australia: celebrants should ask for a NAATI certified translation of a birth certificate that is not in English.
- Other uses: university admissions, employment, skills assessments; check what the organisation asks for.
